Come slow down in the forest, swim in the river, share food, music, movement, workshops and time around community.
The Feeling
Wild Roots Gathering is not a big festival.
It is a gentle, family-friendly gathering created for people who want to step away from busy life and reconnect with nature, themselves and each other.
Expect barefoot days, river swims, music in the trees, children exploring safely, inspiring workshops, good food, and simple off-grid living.

THE WORKSHOPS
Explore inspiring workshops designed to reconnect you with nature, yourself and community.
From movement, wellbeing and mindfulness to sustainable living, creativity, natural building and personal growth, each session offers practical tools, fresh perspectives and meaningful connections.
Join what calls to you, discover new ideas, and leave feeling inspired, grounded and refreshed.
KIDS WORKSHOPS
Children are very welcome.
There will be guided nature-based kids activities for children aged 3 years and upwards each day from 10:00–14:00, giving children space to explore, create and connect with the forest.
Children below the age of 3 years are welcome to join but need to be accompanied by an adult.
Parents remain responsible for their children outside organised activity times.
FOOD & DRINKS
A variety of delicious and nourishing food will be available throughout the gathering from our on-site food vendors. You'll find a wide range of healthy options, including vegan, vegetarian and locally inspired meals, as well as snacks, drinks and treats for all tastes.
Whether you're looking for a hearty meal, a light bite between workshops, or something refreshing after a swim in the river, there will be plenty of choices to keep you well-fed and energised throughout the weekend.

Bring your own tent or campervan, or stay in one of our simple bell tents.

Spaces are limited to keep the gathering intimate.
